City of Aveiro
In the image you can see one of the canals of the "Ria de Aveiro" that crosses the city, being known as "The Venice of Portugal". In the foreground you can also see the boats "Moliceiro" and "Mercantel". These colourful boats were originally used to catch the "moliço" and transport the salt respectively, but nowadays they are more used for tourism purposes. You can also see the characteristic buildings of the city in pastel shades of Art Nouveau style.
