The study commissioned in 2017 by Bruxelles Environnement and carried out by the "Vlaamse Instelling voor Technologisch Onderzoek" (VITO) establishes a map of cool islands in the Brussels-Capital Region. The aim of this study: To identify the coolest areas to recommend during periods of high heat and highlight the heat islands, that is to say the areas most at risk where concrete actions can be implemented as a priority.
