Implementation of Renewable Energies as a Strategy to Modify the Energy Matrix in Argentina. From Point Policies to Systemic Solutions.
In recent years, policies and official programs aimed at promoting the development of renewable energies have been promoted in two levels: on the one hand, to promote the universal access to energy resources and, on the other, to modify the scarce diversification of the energy matrix. The proposal of this paper is to analyze the policies implemented and projected in Argentina with the objective of solving the limitations of the energy matrix in terms of dependence on fossil fuels and their high concentration. In particular, it seeks to analyze the consequences of the application of programs that are reduced to the implementation of specific technological solutions to specific problems (such as the diversification of the energy matrix) and to consider the possibility of developing projects that promote systemic solutions.
