European Construction Sector Observatory
The European construction sector observatory (ECSO) is an initiative under COSME (Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). It regularly analyses and carries out comparative assessments on the construction sector in all 27 EU countries and the UK – aiming to keep European policymakers and stakeholders up to date on market conditions and policy developments.
This report focuses on the country profile Belgium, in specific the Brussels-Capital region for the year 2018.
It covers the following issues: Macroeconomic Indicators, Key economic drivers of the construction sector, Key issues and barriers in the construction sector, Innovation in the construction sector, National & Regional Policy & Regulatory Framework and Current Status & National Strategy to meet Construction 2020 Objectives.
