Capture and Control of Material Flows and Stocks in Urban Housing - Based on the Case Study of the Housing Industry in Munich-Freiham
This thesis describes the development of a holistic and dynamic material flow model for determining the material composition of the housing stock (material cadastre) and the material flows triggered by urban housing. Material characteristics at building-, component- and material- level were linked with geometric data from 3D city models to identify the stocks composition. This serves as the basis for further calculations within the model (e. g. proportion of recyclable masses, construction waste, system losses, temporal- and spacial release etc.). The case study of Munich-Freiham was used to validate the model.
