Processing Stocks Data (Module 2) - Online course Sector-Wide Circularity Assessment
Outline of the video
- First show you how you can start to work on a file and then discuss in which format the data needs to be.
- Example: Buildings by building material 1960-2019 in Finland
- The stock data processing template has 8 columns. Going through them one by one to explain what they are.
- Different from the flow data processing is that start and end date columns aren’t there. This is because those aren’t needed for stock, as it stays for more than a year in the system.
- Back to the example, formatting the data after copying it from the source.
- Unfortunately the unit is not in tonnes, but instead buildings in numbers.
- We will just use it to show how the data can be arranged based on the info from the source.
